Dave Ramsey - The Dave Ramsey Show
"... and get on a written, monthly budget today. You can't out-earn stupidity. I tried for years."

"When someone is giving you their theology, their God words, you should listen hard and be very gentle. The time to deliver your God words is when you are asked."

"Sorry, Roy, I just don't trust you enough to believe that you lied." - Belkar, OOTS#179

Inspector Harry Callaghan:"A man's gotta know his limitations."

Tommy Nowak in 'Pink Cadillac':
I've got a firm policy on gun control. If there's a gun around, I want to be the one controlling it.
Obviously a hardened criminal. I can tell by your kewpie-doll lips. (a tribute to my high school)

I know, it's a bit difficult to read. But I like the colors and I did this to honor our military troops serving around the world. I know this isn't the camo pattern they still use, but it is the one they used when I was discharged - and it worked pretty well. Besides, I tried using a recent, commercially-available camo pattern and everything disappeared into the background. So, I guess the military's woodland camo doesn't work THAT well. Which is probably why they changed. Also, I wanted to use colors that remind me how much I really would prefer to be in the woods, in a tree, in a blind, hunting. But even on the best of days, that's not to be. Oh well.

As for the logos, these are some sites I visit regularly. These companies/sites have not paid me anything to display their logos, I do it because these are the site I want to support/endorse. They are subject to change at any time and with irregular frequency. If at any time any of these companies/sites wish to have their logo (and link) removed from my site, I will do so post haste. Just contact me at gdv dot pops at gmail dot com and I'll git-r-done. And then there's the weather update.

And I haven't forgotten about the good folks at Rendezvous coffee house. I've known the owners for a few years now and they're really great - as are their staff. If you leave Rendezvous without having had a good time, you should move back to New York or Chicago or someplace where folks are a little less friendly than they are here in central Missouri. That's my opinion and it's worth what you paid for it.
