McDill Pond Trivia

McDill Pond is a 261-acre impoundment of the Plover River. The Plover River
watershed that feeds into McDill Pond is about 195 square miles. It begins about
15 miles southwest of Antigo and flows about 60 miles mostly south where it
enters the Wisconsin River below Stevens Point. The average drop is about 5 feet
per mile. It takes about 3.65 days for the total water volume in McDill Pond to
be replaced from the Plover River.
