No Assumptions Allowed

A favorite phrase often stated by proponents of the evolutionary model is “ If you will just allow
me this assumption...” Is it not interesting that in order to “prove” that God does not exist the atheist
requests of the creationist the allowance of the assumption that God does not exist? The whole
process of evolutionary thought is built upon some basic assumptions, which if not allowed would
cause the evolutionary model to crumble. A fact cannot be proven by a method which is based
upon assumptions.  The weaknesses of the evolutionary geologic timetable are made evident when
one examines the basis of the dating processes and the methods by which strata are identified and
dated. The dating processes assume a constant atmosphere, and also assume that the rate of loss of
radiation or Carbon 14 isotopes has remained steady. Strata are often identified  and dated by the
fossils found within them, and in turn the fossils are identified and dated by the strata layers in
which they are found.  (This type of reasoning reminds me very much of a dog persistently chasing
his tail.)

The evolutionist pleads “just allow me this assumption” and that is the one thing we cannot allow.
If the atheistic evolutionist has evidence to present that will disprove God’s creation of the
universe, then let him produce it. The cold, hard fact is he will not, he cannot, and he never will. To
quote the evolutionists’ own champion, Dr. Robert Jastrow,  “According to this story, every tree,
every blade of grass, and every creature in the sea and on the land evolved out of one parent strand
of molecular matter drifting lazily in a warm pool. What concrete evidence supports that
remarkable theory of the origin of life? There is none.”
