Dodging the Devil’s Darts

I.   How the Deceiver Deceives

II.  How to Withstand Satan

            A. Put on the whole armor of God Eph. 6:11

            B. Draw near to God James 4:7-10

 

III. The Deceiver’s Downfall

            A. Satan will be cast down (Rev. 12:9)         

            (Rev 12:9 KJV)  "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the     

            Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth,

            and his angels were cast out with him."

 

            B. By God’s grace, we triumph in Christ

            (2 Cor 2:14 KJV)  "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph   

            in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place."

 

 

Conclusion:

            We must be watchful because our adversary is clever, wicked, and strong. Yet we need to remember that our God is stronger than all the forces of darkness. Through Him we shall prevail.
