“I find no fault in him.”

Alone, rejected, despised.

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!”

Spotless, innocent, Lamb of God.

“My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?”

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

“It is finished.”

“My LORD and my GOD!”

The words echo in my mind. I reflect on my sin. I am reminded just how much I need a Savior. He had no fault worthy of condemnation. I am full of faults. He was the spotless Lamb of God. I am a sinner. He deserved His place in Heaven. I deserve Hell. Because of His love, I am free. Because of His death, I have victory over death. Because of His resurrection, I have hope. Because of His presence, I have peace. He died for you, too. He loves you. He wants you to succeed. He wants to walk with you. He wants to be in your heart. He wants to spend an eternity in Heaven with you.

Don’t ever forget that. Satan may lie to you and tell you that you have no hope. Satan may seek to steal the joy of your salvation by reminding you of your faults. Tell him you know your faults, and so does Jesus. That is why He died for you. He didn’t die for you because you are perfect. He died for you because you needed a Savior. Now, as a child of God, you have a Savior who loves you, watches over you, and forgives you. He says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Though I am insufficient, His grace is sufficient for me.

“I find no fault in him.”

One day, I hope to hear Jesus say those words about me. I hope He says it about you too. “I find no fault in her, because I died for her.” “I find no fault in him; he is covered by my blood.”

The gates of Heaven await our entrance. Forever we shall be with Him. Perfect.
