Nibble Programs

For those of us who remember Nibble and enjoyed the magazine, you may be interested in my discovery of these Shrinkit archives of Nibble progams.

They are not complete, and although I'm sure I tried my darnedest, they are probably not perfect. Expect a few bumps. If you do find something and can correct it, I'd appreciate it if you can send in the fix. That way others can benefit from these.

With any luck, all the programs can be collected and offered on the Nibble DVD from Mr. Harvey! (see http://www.nibblemagazine.com/)

NOTE: Each of the "download" links below are Shrinkit archives (*.SHK files). If you prefer, I have disk images available in this zip archive.

Utilities see listing download	If I remember correctly, these two programs were used to check your work as you typed in the Nibble programs. There are only two programs in this archive - CHECKIT (Applesoft programs) and HEX.CHECKER (binary listings).
1987 see listing download	Contains just a few one-liners from 1987. Issues: January (vol. 8, no. 1)
1988 see listing download	Contains the Pyramid solitaire game. Issues: July (vol. 9, no. 7)
1989 see listing download	Includes a number of games: Bridges, Exterminators, Mary's Garden, Widgets (a personal favorite), Treasure Dive. This also includes the Nibble Assembler from the November issue. Unknown see listing download	This archive contains a couple of files that I did not have organized. One is City Centurian by John Romero. The other has to do with overlaying one Applesoft BASIC program with another. When I am able, I'll move these into the appropriate archive.
