the Conscious and Unconscious Victim , One and Two Rescuer Adult, Child and Infant
CPR, Heart Disease Prevention, Rescue Breathing, Choking Emergencies, use and application of an Automated External Defibrillator, and much more.
Bloodborne Pathogen/Infection Control
The bloodborne pathogen course is based upon OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard and is designed to educate bystanders and rescuers in some of the pathogenic exposure risks inherent in the workplace; topics include: a discussion of the
epidemiology and signs and symptoms of bloodborne diseases, a review of the modes of transmission, the recognition of tasks that may involve exposure, an explanation of Universal Precautions, Body Substance Isolation, Workplace Practice Controls,
Engineering Controls, Administrative Controls, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment. The course will also discuss the employer's responsibilities, including the availability of an Exposure Control Plan, and employee accessibility to the Hepatitis
B vaccine.
