Will you copy commercial DVDs, video games, software, etc…..for me?
The short answer is no. We do not undertake or condone infringement of copyright. As a general guideline, if you feel you need to ask not if we can, but if we will copy something - the answer is probably no. Sorry.
I have lost / damaged a disk that you supplied me - can I order a replacement?
To protect your privacy, at the completion of a project all associated files that may have been generated are deleted. We do not keep copies of any DVDs or CDs that we produce. However, at the time of order you may choose to request additional copies.
If you did not order multiple copies and would like a replacement, it will be necessary for us to repeat the project - but in this eventuality, we do offer a 33% rebate off the original order value. Please contact us for details.
My DVD doesn't play in my equipment! What's wrong?
As a first step, check the DVD for scratches, dust, damage, etc., then try again. If possible, try the DVD in another Player. Check the Player with another disk that you know works. If you have tried all these tips and are still unsuccessful, in some rare instances it may be the disk.
DVD authoring is a reasonably technical task and occasionally incompatibilities between your equipment and the blank media used to create the DVD will prohibit use, although this is usually only experienced on very early 'first generation' DVD players. While we take a number of steps during the creation process to limit this potential problem to a minimum - using only high quality 'branded' media and equipment, error checking all disks before shipment - unfortunately, we cannot cover every eventuality.
For a list of known incompatible players, please click here. If your disk is undamaged and you believe it is an incompatibility issue, please contact us for a full refund.
I've placed my order…when can I expect delivery?
This depends on the complexity and size of your order, but we aim for a typical delivery from confirmation of 7-14 days. If your project will take longer than this (typically for advanced projects), we will let you know when we confirm your order.
Will my video be 'DVD' quality?
As with any recording process, the quality 'in' will ultimately determine the quality 'out'. With all our video services we apply software filters - for signal noise, 'snowing', color balance, etc., - in order to provide you with the optimum quality possible from your source material, but please be aware the effectiveness of such enhancements is limited.
However, we can guarantee that the video quality of your DVD will be at least as good as the original source media supplied to us.
Can I print photos that I have transferred to CD / DVD?
Yes. On your disk, your photos will be archived as a folder of digital images (JPGs). These images can be edited or printed on your computer or through one of the many retail or on-line stores that provide this service.
An index print with file names is supplied with all image-related disks to simplify this task.
My media is irreplaceable - will it be damaged by the process?
We treat all your media with the same care and respect that we treat our own. Your media is only used once during the original capture phase, and will then be returned to you at the completion of the project. All our delivery shipping is handled securely via either FedEx or UPS, and we strongly recommend that you use a similar method for shipping your media to us.
Please remember that we cannot be liable for any damage that may occur to your media.
What sets you apart from other providers of this service?
There are many providers out there, some with very impressive websites - and the overheads and prices to match. Ultimately though, they all provide the same basic service and it is up to the consumer to choose.
We believe that the attention to detail and effort that we put into making your final DVD personal to you is what sets us apart from both the large commercial 'DVD Farms', and competitors who charge extra for items we offer as standard, such as interactive menus or color labels.
We believe that after all, your video is personal to you--shouldn't your DVD be also?
We are proud to be a "mom-n-pop" store and believe in the values that phrase evokes. That's why we spend time at the outset of a project to fully understand your expectations, aim to provide a truly professional service and product, and offer a full money-back guarantee if you aren't satisfied.
We believe these values will be apparent in your experience with us, and in your enjoyment of our final product.
