I know we're not all perfect,
Although we want to be.
It's hard at times to please the Lord
When our flesh does not agree.

If we're honest with ourselves,
Knowing what is true,
Here are just a few of the things
That we as Christians do…

Lord, this woman just cut me off,
For I was next in line.
How rude and inconsiderate!
Let me give her a piece of my mind?

Get out of my way, you Grandpa.
You're going to slow for me.
Why did they give you a license?
You drive like you're ninety three.

Hey, you stole my parking spot!
Move that ton of lead!
Forgive me Lord, if I had a stick,
I'd slap a knot upside his head.

Lord bless my home and family…
Shut up!  I'm trying to pray!
Can't you kids be quiet?
You're driving me crazy today.

Lord, I know I'm driving too fast,
But there's places I need to be.
Could you help me to get there safely,
And stop that cop who's chasing me?

Let's not forget the shopper
Who's waiting to pay her bill,
When suddenly her lane is closed.
She feels the urge to kill.

Let's take a look at the deacon
Who every Sunday we greet.
He's always so nice and friendly,
Until someone takes his seat.

What about people driving to church
Screaming and blowing their horn.
When they finally reach the parking lot,
They put their "Jesus-face" on.

Are you the one who drives to work,
And tries to get there quicker,
Witnessing to people as you whiz by
With your Jesus bumper sticker?

Do you see yourself in any of these?
Is this the way you're livin'?
Just add another sticker that says,
"I'm Not Perfect - Just Forgiven!"
