Rick Evans, Atascadero Class of 1973, started playing around with Brad years ago.  The two started out playing in backyards, garages and living rooms.  Over the years Rick has worked at various jobs including pest control, yard maintenance and custodial services.  Rick currently works for the Atascadero Unified School District in Atascadero.  Rick was with Blackberry Ridge before it was even called Blackberry Ridge.  In addition to playing Bass and Saxophone, Rick also sang harmonies and an occasional lead vocal.

Rick, besides playing the occasional Blackberry get together, also is the Bass player for the Just Country Band, also from Atascadero.

Rick also enjoys sharing his life with his daughter, who has inherited many of his personality traits.  He continues to make his home in Atascadero.
