So what is Blackberry Ridge up to these days?

Besides the occasional reunion, the gang has started practicing for some up-coming events.

The First Annual Pine Mountain Festival

The band appeared as one of the acts at the First Annual Pine Mountain Festival at Stadium Park in Atascadero on May 3, 2003.  The event is being put on by A.L.P.S. (the Atascadero Land Preservation Society) and Mid Coast Productions (Matt and Heidi Franscioni).  The festival provides a variety of acts celebrating American music.

A Humphrey Family Special Event

Brad Humphrey's daughter Tori, born after the full band had been playing for over two years, is getting married in August 2003.  The band will be play a set during the reception in addition to the music provided by a local DJ.

A.L.P.S. Christmas Party

A.L.P.S. held a Christmas and thank you party in December for everyone who raised money for the land purchases they were able to make for that year.  The "Ridge Band" (an abbreviated version of Blackberry Ridge short two members) played two sets for the gathering.
