Annie Jensen

Annie Jensen, daughter of Gustav Adolph Jensen and Amelia Mayer, was born March 13, 1894 in Fort Worth, Texas, and died April 24, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas. She married John Curtis Current January 25, 1914, son of David Wilson Current and Mary Belle Curtis. He was born December 10, 1891 in Weatherford, Texas, and died April 04, 1974 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Annie Jensen Current died from heart disease.

Annie attended Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas and enjoyed entertaining. She had many church socials at her house. She played the piano, enjoyed crafts, and raised fish (guppies). She loved to work in her beautiful flower gardens

Fort Worth Native Dies Here at Age 78.

Mrs. Annie Current, 78, a native of Fort Worth, died yesterday in a hospital.

Mrs. Current, who had lived for the 26 years at 2609 S. Jennings, was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Curtis Current; four sons, Melvin W. Current of Martinez, California, Lawrence Current of San Pablo, California, John C. Current, Jr., of Fort Worth and Douglas C. Current of Concord, California; four daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Jackson of Jacksboro and Mrs. Mary Lou McDonald, Mrs. Betty Ann Searcy and Mrs. Barbara Benfer, all of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Alexander of Weatherford and Mrs. Ruby Wilson of Comanche; 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Travis Avenue Baptist Church. burial will be in the Curtis Cemetery in Weatherford.
