Richard Richardson, Sr.  (son of William Richardson, Jr.  and Margaret Smith) was born February 11, 1707 in  West River, Anne Arundel, Maryland, and died February 25, 1761 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  He married Margaret Cole May 26, 1730 in West River, Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  She was born between August 10, 1709 - 1711 in Monocacy, Maryland and died 1760 in Ohio.

Richard Richardson, Sr. (1707 - 1761) was disowned by the Society of Friends in 1759, for rendering service in the French and Indian War.  He married Margaret Cole, granddaughter of Capt. William Cole.  His son, Richard Richardson, Jr., (1742 - 1803) was likewise disowned by the Society of Friends in 1778, for engaging to support the cause of the American Revolution.  Richard Richardson, Jr., married Mary Pierpont in 1762.  Colonial Families in the U.S.
