Previous ZERO POPULATION GROWTH of GREATER BOSTON Meeting

Our next ZPG/Boston Meeting on September 16 will have a featured guest: ZPG's new executive director and past US Congressman Peter Kostmayer.

Peter will address a combined audience of ZPG and the MIT community, to be followed by discussion. At the conclusion of the main program, ZPG will carry out its usual business, with anyone wishing to find out more about ZPG welcome to stay.

Bring your grey matter and your questions. You don't want to miss it.

WHEN:  Monday, September 16, 1996 at 7:30 pm
WHERE: MIT main campus, Building 16, Room 16-134

DIRECTIONS

The September Boston chapter of ZPG meeting will be held on Monday, September 16 on the MIT campus in Cambridge at 7:30. The specific location is Building 16, Room 16-134. This building is in the "center" of campus, approximately equidistant from Memorial Drive, Mass. Ave, Vassar Street, and Ames Street.

Directions: (Parking is fee on Memorial Drive, Mass. Ave., and Vassar St. Try Memorial Drive first. Memorial Dr. runs E-W. Ames St. runs N-S. Be careful on Mem. Dr.- if eastbound near Mass Ave., staying too far to the right will force you to drive over the bridge!)

By car: First, get to Memorial Drive in Cambridge, on the north bank of the Charles River. By foot, find Ames Street (0.3 mi. from Mass Ave and 0.5 mi. from the Longfellow Bridge). Go north on Ames Street about 203 yards to the big crosswalk marked by yellow signs- there will be a sharp, pointed end of a triangular building (Bldg 66- Ralph Landau Bldg) on your left. Follow the main walking path along the south (near) side of Bldg 66. Go 168 yards or so until you see the Whitaker Building entrance on your right. Enter. The door on your left is building 16.

By public transportation (T): Take the T Red line to Kendall Square in Cambridge. Go west (toward the Coop) on Main Street for about 174 yards to the next light and take a left onto Ames Street. Go another 170 yards or so, to a large cross walk marked by yellow signs. Cross in the crosswalk as you face the sharp pointed end of a triangular building (Bldg. 66- Ralph Landau Bldg). Follow the main walking path along the south side of Bldg 66. Go 168 yards or so until you see the Whitaker Building entrance on your right. Enter. The door on your left is building 16.
