Flying

I wish (
while speeding madly through the ionosphere
aboard a
Rocket
made of triple-butted
chrome-molybdenum) -
more than I have ever wished for
Anything -
that somehow I could have my very own
Tandem
because if I had a
Tandem
I could get myself a
Copilot
and I could say
"Pilot to Copilot"
and copilot would respond
"Aye Captain"
and I would say
"now shifting into warp drive"
and bodies would strain mightily with the effort
and precious fluids would bleed from every pore
and lungs would heave on the verge of collapse
and scenery would blur
and minds would meld unto the very heart of
Zen Consciousness
and I would say
"Pilot to Copilot"
and copilot would respond
"Aye Captain"
and I would say
"isn't this the most beautiful day for
Flying
that you ever saw"
