SAD NEWS: On November 14th, 2000, Tri-County Area Liars, Elaborators and Storytellers (T.A.L.E.S.) ceased existence.

T.A.L.E.S.
, the state's oldest storytelling guild, served the tri-county area (Kenosha County and Racine County, Wisconsin, and Lake County, Illinois), and had a long and honored history of supporting the art of storytelling. While the guild's members will no doubt continue individually to foster the art and enjoyment of story, T.A.L.E.S. will be sorely missed by her sister guilds.

If you know of a guild forming in your area of the state, please let us know!
