Solarsheat 1500 Hot Air Collector Your Solar Home

MAAPS Tips & Recommendations
  • The Solarsheat system uniquely has a solar electric panel and fan unit integrated into the "master" collector unit. This means you don't need to separate run wires to the fan system, simplifying installation. You can connect up to two additional "secondary" Solarsheat collectors to the "master" collector. The secondary collectors blow their heated air over to the the "master" unit that then ducts it into the home. This way you don't need to make more than just one hole into the home.
  • We recommend one collector per 750 square feet of home or office space.
  • The master collector includes the mount, duct kit and control.
  • A basic system should minimally consist of the "master" collector. Add more secondary collectors for more heat. (note: 3 collectors have a special 3 collector wall mount). You can also swap out the wall mount for the roof mount clamps which mounts one collector flush to the roof.
  • Be sure to order the inline fan if the distance from the sheet to the diffuser is 25 feet or more.

YOUR SOLAR HOME INC. is a renewable energy solutions company which manufactures and develops solar air collection heating systems for residential and commercial use. Collectors are assembled with a custom extrusion and quality materials to ensure long life.

Their products are economical, environmentally friendly, can be used for air heating or hot water supply and offer high performance in a variety of different climates and applications.

SOLARSHEAT 1500

1. Integrated Photovoltaic Module
The SolarSheat has an integrated photovoltaic panel (thin film can effectively work on cloudy days) comprises 14 watts of power that drives a fan for optimal performance.

2. Modular Extruded Frame
The modular extruded aluminum frame allows for connection between panels from side or top portion. Panels can be interconnected to form large air wall structures to accommodate large heating needs or ventilation air supply.

3. Perforated Absorber
The perforated absorber allows for maximum air flow through the collector. A high quality paint coating is applied for long-life and ensures excellent energy absorption in a wide variety of climates.

4. Ceramic Insulation
A ceramic bead insulation coating is applied to the back of the collector to provide optimal energy efficiency and up to R20 value which can act with or instead of back insulated wall.

5. Preset Automatic Temperature Control
The sensor is preset to allow for the proper room temperature heating requirements. (Thermastat preset to 19 ºC +/- 3 ºC)

6. Fan
The fan has a long life and provides up to 150 CFM for adequate room ventilation.

7. On/Off/Automatic Switch
The switch can be set to three different positions for multiple heating needs. The user can set the switch to OFF – no heat, ON– for continuous ventilation and heat or AUTO – for a preset temperature to start the fan.

8. All Included
Ships with the mount, duct kit and control.

Note: Fresh air solar heating systems, such as the Solarsheat, will generally not turn on once the outdoor air temperature goes below approximately 30 degrees Fahrenheit because the resultant output air temperature into the home won't be much above 80 degrees.
