Pet Rock is a six piece retro band concentrating on dance, pop, R&B and soul songs from the ’70s and ’80s (though sets can occasionally wander into other decades).

Consisting of two lead singers (male and female), guitar, bass, drums and keys, Pet Rock is exceptional in its ability to keep the crowd dancing, covering songs that people remember, but aren’t the standard “wedding band set list.” Established in 1998, this professional band would be ideal for a wedding, though it is unique in its fresh, “uncanned” approach to these songs.

The remarkably tight rhythm section pumps this band, which is all about the boogie. The extensive set list includes songs such as “Boogie Oogie Oogie,” “Jessie’s Girl,” “Billie Jean,” “Get Down Tonight,” “Last Dance,“ “I Will Survive” and “Respect,“ but also hits some classic rock, ballads and more modern tunes. Pet Rock is one of the most well received acts at Foxwoods, and plays clubs, town commons, private parties and more. Pet Rock uses its own sound company – Wheel and Deal Sound – for all events, unless otherwise provided. A horn section can be added upon request (and is highly recommended), and songs can also be added for special occasions.

Pet Rock simply gets it right, and we are very affordable.
