In FFXI, Crafting is part of the game. Crafting enables you to make certain materials that will get you through the game. Crafting is not cheap, but it is an necessary evil. In the long run, your money will be made through crafting.
Like everyone else, I also get by with crafting. Actually, I do quite a bit of it on my main character and both mules I have. Below are the current crafts:
Ayrlie
- 100 +3 Bonecraft with Bone Purification
- 60 Woodworking, Leathercraft, Alchemy, Clothcraft, Smithing
- 49.0 Goldsmithing
Yurlhie
- 99.4 +2 Cooking with Noodle Kneading, Raw Fish Handling, and Pattiser
Etnapwnzs
- 33 Fishing
- 39 Woodworking
