The 70s
| Zone | Level Range | PT Size | Mobs | Notes |
|
Dragon's Aery |
70-73 |
6 |
Darter Spider |
Beware of HNM down in the pit. You may fill in chains with the morbols but it is not recommended. |
|
Cape Terrigan |
70-73 |
6 |
Manticore |
Camps either at north Valley of Sorrows or Cloister of Gales zone. Ninja tank is required. Either camp supports 1 party. You may have to fill in chains with weaker Cockatrices. Greater Bird that pops every 21-24 hours by the Valley of Sorrows Camp is true-sight. |
|
Kuftal Tunnel (past rock) |
70-75 |
6 |
Tiger Cockatrice Ladons |
Mages need to keep Barparalyze+Barblizzard effect up to combat Roar. Ninja tank is recommended due to potential one-shotters from cockatrice and ladons. Cockatrices and Ladons are still VT-IT at 75. Axeburn parties down here tend to be moving parties. Place either supports 2 stationary parties or 1 moving party. |
|
Ru'Avitau |
70-75 |
6 |
D. Weapons Aura Pot 73: A. Weapons 74: Aura Statues |
The mobs you camp depends on where you are in the zone. There are 2 D-Weapon camps, the front camp that favors moving party and the water camp that favors a stationary party. Each only supports 1 party. There is 1 Aura Pot camp at the Olla ??? pop spot, this favors a monk party. Aura Weapons are located on the way to the Ulli camp. There are two Golem camps, the Ulli camp that favors a stationary party, and the Celestial Nexus camp that favors a moving party. If you are heading towards Ulli, have some type of Reraise device in case Faust (massive sight + magic aggro) is up - sometimes you may appear in a spot where you're caught that very moment as teleporters will cancel invisible effect. |
|
Ro'Maeve |
70-75 |
6 |
Second tier weapons Darksteel Golem |
Behind moon gate. Supports 4 parties. Weapons will link in the zone, but more often than not this will usually happen due to repops. Sometimes the RDM weapon may buff another weapon that you are fighting and not attack, however. Weapons are still VT at 75, Golem is still VT-IT at 75. |
|
Lufaise Meadows |
71-75 |
6 |
Greater Bird Ram |
Only pull ram if you have ninja tank and a white mage. The emphasis is Greater Bird. Thief puller is strongly recommended because of Hide to reduce the chances of adds (usually they come on repops). Greater Birds do not sleep, so in case add does happen (i.e. Hide is /recast) the puller should overshoot camp and the RDM needs to hit Gravity and Bind in that order on the extra mob. If link breaks free, it needs to be stunned/flashed. Area supports 2 parties. Stationary parties work best, its too dangerous for a moving party. |
|
King Ranperre's Tomb |
71-75 |
6 |
Hati Skeleton Lemures |
This zone favors 2 types of parties: manaburn and monk. Manaburn parties tend to camp at Strange Apparatus room and carby-pull the skeletons to camp. Monk parties tend to be moving parties that uses the mob's own aggro behavior (detect by low HP) for fishing purposes. There may be weaker mobs at an intersection that a monk party may pass from time to time. |
|
Uleguerand Range |
71-75 |
6 |
Molech Smolenkos Kindred Demons 73: King Buffalo |
The mobs are located along the northern and northwestern parts of the zone (if you go counterclockwise around this zone and not fall down any holes, you will reach camp). The zone works best with a stationary party, as moving parties tend to have so-so results (demons will resist lullaby, and mobs have 5 minute repops). Whoever has hate on Molech needs to turn their back to avoid a gaze-type attack that Cursna only has 10% chance of healing. Molechs also need to be attacked from behind (they are monk-type mobs). Molechs and Smolenkos are weak to blunt-type attacks. Demons have a line-of-sight Jump attack called Comdemnation that can one-shot a taru mage. |
|
Hu'zmet Al'Taieu |
71-75 |
6 |
Om'phaubos |
Manaburn party recommended. There is a level difference of the mobs. |
|
Cadvera Mire |
72-75 |
6 |
H. Imp Elder Treant S. Fly Jnun |
Two known camps, one near a staging point that has tons of Imps/Flies; and a second camp west of Nashamu with 3 Imps and 3-4 Treants. Most of the mobs are T-VT at 75. Saplings may link with Treants as always, but they are Easy Prey. |
|
Bhaflau Thickets |
72-75 |
6 |
Mammok Sea Puk Wyvern |
Thieves should only gain their TP on Puks via marksmanship. Slashing/Wind-based attacks will heal Sea Puks. Camp is near Mammol Ja Staging Point. |
|
Wajoram Woodlands |
72-75 |
6 |
Mammok Marid |
Camp unknown. Marids will use a TP move that pops Chigoes. Chigoes have few hp and will die from Shield Bash/Jump/Blizzaga. |
|
Bhaflau Thickets |
73-75 |
6 |
Marid |
Near Halvung zone. Marids have TP move that pops Chigoes, so have someone on chigoe duty. |
|
Mt. Zhalyon |
73-75 |
6 |
Sicklemoon Jagil Troll |
The trolls here are the VT-IT variety, the Jagils somewhere around T-VT. Recent update fixed the detection ability of the jagils, but they may still hear through sneak. |
| Mammok | 73-75 | 6 |
Mammok Wyvern Puk | In the tunnels. |
| Cadvera Mire (Duvacca Isle) | 73-75 | 6 |
Lamia/Merrow Imp | Virelai from BRD-class lamia must be stunned (it charms party members). |
