This is sort of a continuing saga of the house I'm having built. It'll be approximately 2394 square feet, 3 bedroom (4th bedroom converted to an office off the master bedroom), 3 full bath, formal dining room, game room, and the living room will be more of a multimedia room. After closing, I plan on landscaping the front and sides along with most of the back and when someone moves in next to me on the east side (I'm on a corner with a street on the west) to share the cost, a fence. After that, I'll be saving up for a deck, gazebo with spa, pool, and a full garage/shop with a room with bathroom and kitchenette above it.
Timeline:
April 23rd - Forms finished
April 24th - Foundation poured
April 25th - Framework started
April 29th - Framework completed
April 30th - Wood put over frame and on roof

Here's the lot (about 1.2 acres) with the only development being the electrical cable trench in the lower portion of the photo (just beyond the ditch). I've got a few mesquite trees about 2/3rds of the way down the lot. (early February) |
