May 1 - Brick delivered and all the windows installed
May 2, 3, 6 - Finishing work done on the inside walls (final adjustments to
walls/door openings)
May 7 - Tar paper put on roof, electrical work begun (installation of outlet and
light switch boxes)
May 8 - Showers and bathtubs delivered, fireplace installed, plumbing completed,
most outlets/lights/switch boxes installed, most wiring run. (a busy day!)
May 9 - Roof almost completely shingled, inside air conditioning/ductwork
installed, cat5 telephone wiring installed, heavy duty wiring (hot tub, waste
management system, stove, hot water heaters) installed.
May 10 - tubs and showers installed, all wiring completed and ready for the
final inspection. Security system installed.
May 13 - Roof completed, tabs put on to hold brick to walls. Inside
completed and ready for insulation and drywall.
May 14 - Drywall delivered, electrical inspection complete
May 15 - Pre-insulation inspection complete, doors installed, concrete for bricks delivered,
chimney cap installed, structured media center (SMC) installed, cat5 wiring
installed and run to SMC, phone and cable wiring rerouted to SMC, and speaker
wire installed in multimedia room.
May 16 - Sand delivered for bricking, insulation started, soundproofing mostly
complete.
May 17 - Rained out
May 18 - Garage insulated, soundproofing completed, scaffolding for bricking
delivered, pre-drywall survey performed
May 20 - Bricking one third completed, drywall half completed
May 21 - Bricking two thirds completed, drywall complete except for two garage
walls
May 22 - Bricking complete except for window eaves, fireplace, and mailbox;
drywall complete, taped and mudded.
May 24 - Bricking complete except for mailbox, all nail heads and flaws in
drywall mudded.
May 25 - Ceiling texture blown in, electrical feed run from transformer to
house, more drywall flaws found and marked for work
May 28 - Garage door installed, all inside doors, wood for shelves, closets, and
trim delivered
May 29 - All interior doors installed, drywall flaws fixed, texturing blown onto
walls
May 30 - All shelves (pantry, closets, etc.) installed, mantle added to
fireplace, most wood trim (molding, window sills) installed.
May 31 - No work today
