Home Up

My original 1974 Stratocaster.  The only other one with this color scheme that I've seen was being played by Nils Lofgren on the Neil Young in Berlin DVD.  When I had it appraised, I was told that it's a rare guitar but I just thought no one else liked the crappy color. <g>
My 60's re-issue Stratocaster.  Apparently it has "over-wound" pickups on it because they pick up extremely well and tend to sound very hot.
This is my DeArmond M77T (with the firebird bridge pickup) that looks and sounds a lot like the Gretsch 6128T but is about half the price.  You can see necks and part of the bodies of my Squier Telecaster in the back on the right and my '70's Strat on the left.
This is the Squier Telecaster.  You probably can't tell from the photo but the entire guitar body and neck (except the fretboard) are the same blue sparkle that you can see - although it's a lot lighter than it looks.  If I were able to get rid of any of my guitars, this would be the one.  The neck on it it is about a quarter inch narrower than all of my other guitars, making it difficult to play near the pegboard.  The humbucker pickups definitely sound good though.
Here's (from bottom to top), my Sunn 412 speaker cabinet, Fender 100 watt Twin Amp Pro, and the Marshall PowerBrake - which I don't need now that I've moved into my house.
This is my Sunn 215 speaker cabinet - two fifteen inch speakers that really help to fill in the low frequencies.
The speaker covers off of the 412 and amplifier, showing all six of the 12 inch speakers.
The  Leslie cabinet looks a bit rough but, it was well used by my brother when he was playing keyboards professionally.
Here's a new addition - a Peavey PA system that I'm having quite a bit of fun setting up.  On top of it is my DigiTech digital sound processor.  With the help of a good friend who plays guitar professionally in various bands in the local area, I recently figured out how to use the damn thing.
Another new addition - a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 amplifier.  This, the PA system, and the Leslie were sitting unused at my brother's house so he loaned them to me.  Bad part is, most of the rheostats have rust in 'em but, with tuner cleaner, it should be easy to fix.  I thank my brother for adding an additional 467 watts of power to my wall o' sound.
