The Origin of Yellow Fever ...

Well, after selling my 98 R/T back to DaimlerChryalser in December of 1999, I thought I would be happy with a pocket full of money and no monthly payments......I was wrong.
Although I took the substantial amount I got back from DC and bought a 74 Charger SE and a daily driver 91 Shadow ES Turbo Convertible, I still missed the R/T.
I was still a member of the Dakota R/T Mailing List, and i started putting out the word in mid-summer of 2000 that I wanted a Regular Cab Solar Yellow truck.
After a bit of searching and a few leads that went sour, Mike Smith, a fellow Dakota R/T owner and member of the list, as well as a Divisional Rep for the Dakota R/T Club, found just what I was looking for in Indiana.Mike went to great lengths for me in aquiring the truck including e-mailing me many pics and even an .mpeg movie file of a test drive.
With loan paperwork in hand, I flew to Indy early one Saturday morning, Mike picked me up at the airport, and by lunch I was on my way back home in my 99 R/T with only 12K miles on her.
The truck came from Danville Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge in Danville Indiana.I have to say that even as brief as it was, that Marcia Buis and the whole staff at Danville CPD have *FAR* exceeded my expectations from any dealer, bar-none! I even had a problem after the sale of the truck that my local dealer in GA gave me some hassle about. True to their word, the folks at Danville CPD stood behind what they had sold and reimbursed me for having the problem fixed. No questions asked! If you live in the Indianappolis area, or even if you don't, then give these folks a try. I promise you that they will treat you fairly and with respect, and that you will be satisfied!

THE END RESULT :

I sold the truck in Early 2002 to free-up money for my new HOUSE !!
