Let’s harness all this new year’s energy for the HFA! Come get together with other moms and dads to talk about how to make the HFA an even better organization. There’ll be lots of snacks and chatting, too! Whether you are already very active in the HFA, have wanted to get more involved but haven’t known how, or just want to come meet some people and hear more about what’s going on, please join us on the 18th! R.S.V.P. to Betsy at 456-8484/betsy_starr@hotmail.com by Jan 16th.
Keep that New Year’s Resolution and get reading! This month’s book is "Julie and Julia: My year of cooking Dangerously" by Julie Powell - a fun non-fiction book about a woman who set out to cook all 524 recipes in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking v.1 in a year. Please r.s.v.p to SusanMary Redinger if you're planning on attending (smredinger@charter.net). She will then coordinate the potluck and send out directions.
How about a night out at the movies before the Oscars? There are always so many good films out this time of year and we never make any time to see them! The week before this event, Cynthia will send out an email with movies playing and time so that we can coordinate the group. R.S.V.P. to Cynthia at cynthiariddle@charter.net.
