SERVICE PROJECTS

As Christians we believe that Christ wants us to reach out others in our homes, communities and throughout the world. All students at Holy Family School participate in numerous service projects throughout the year. Middle School students deliver "Meals on Wheels" to the shut-in of our community. Students also participate in food drives to help fill the food pantries of Sheboygan. The nursing homes in our community benefit from cards the students make at both Christmas time and Valentine's Day. Students also support the needy throughout the world by sending school supplies and textbooks to schools in developing countries.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Under the direction of a teacher, Student Council is primarily a student run organization at H.F.S. Elections are held in the fall of the year for the offices of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Representatives from grades 4-8 are chosen to represent their individual classrooms. Any student in grades 4-8 is encouraged to join Student Council as a non-voting member. Student Council sponsors fundraising activities throughout the year. Some of the activities we sponsor include: cookie and flower sales, middle school lock-in, food drives; school yard clean-up and much more! The money raised by student council is all returned to its community.
