Dr. Hilsenrath has over 15 years of experience in the health sector. He is currently Professor of Health Management and Policy at University of North Texas Health Science Center. Previously he was Associate Professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Iowa where he held various positions in both Medicine and Public Health for over 10 years. He also held positions at the Center for Naval Analyses near Washington D.C., the Department of Economics at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, and as Chief Economist of Syfrets Managed Assets in Cape Town.

Peter Hilsenrath earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He has published extensively in medical, health management and social science journals. Dr. Hilsenrath provides consulting expertise on a limited basis to select clients. His academic base helps provide assurance of objectivity so vital in objective analyses. Services cover a wide range of topics and include present value analyses for economic damage estimates, help as an expert witness, and other forms of litigation support. You can expect work that is thoroughly grounded in economic theory and supported by data. Reports will be well written and of publishable quality.
