Q1. Are you really as obsessed with Zolo as everyone thinks? (from me)
A: Well, if they are thinking about the kind of girl who would spend hours making a poster of him and nothing BUT him or some crazy thing like that... then that's EXACTLY how obsessed I am! Trust me! If you think THAT'S pathetic, it gets worse... I practically worship the guy! (Not really)
Q2. What did you think of One Piece the first time you saw it on TV? (from me)
A: My first thought was that Luffy smiles too much... seriously! I thought the guy just had botox or something! THEN! I saw Zolo! Those swords caught my eye and soon I became obsessed with not ONLY the SUPER HOT SWORDSMAN, but with the show as well! Thank you! I AM weird, aren't I?!?!?!?
Q3. What's with the duck thing? (from a reader)
A. It's a long story... but a funny one! So I will tell you!
Well, it was December 9th and I was having my b-day party (although my b-day is the 13th). My friends and I were downstairs and my dog followed us down. Gretchen, being over at my house for the first time, saw him and asked me. "Is that your dog Beth?" And, before I could reply with a sarcastic remark of my own, Sara replied. "No... It's a duck!" Thus, bringing an obsession of ducks to Sara from that moment on!

Q6. Just how stupid is Buggy the Clown? (from Berry)
A. Another good question, Berry! Um... More stupid than Zolo... And even a little more than Luffy! (I know that's hard to believe, but...) Here's my figuring: Luffy is much more naive than Buggy, but as far as common sense and everything else goes, Luffy has Buggy beat! If we were talking I.Q. here, I'd say Buggy's I.Q. would be half that of a flea! Pathetic, I know... but oh, so true!
Q7. What type of music does everyone on the crew like? (from reader)
A. Well, I like basically anything. I like Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, and Nelly Furtado. I also like A*Teens and some others... Berry likes basically the same stuff. Dew likes Christian and hard rock, Kiwi likes... I dunno... Appy likes... dunno... Kika likes hard rock...Darkfire likes country. Ducky likes... I dunno anymore... it keeps changing... (This is NOT my fault!!!!)
Q8. Did Usopp ever play the role of Pinocchio? (from reader)
A. I'm not sure... but I bet he did! His nose is, like, 12 feet long AND he tells ALOT of lies... I think he IS Pinocchio in disguise! Ow! He just hit me! He's going back into the cabin for that! Usopp: No! Not the cabin again!!! WAAHHH!!!!*sob*
Q9. I want to start an Usopp Fan Club. But I wanted to ask YOU, Captain Shadow, before I did: Do you think it'll get good reviews? ( from reader)
A. Can I ask YOU a question instead? WHY THE HELLO WOULD YOU MAKE AN USOPP FAN CLUB?!?!?!? I appreciate coming to ME to ask me, I mean it's really sweet! But DO NOT waste your time! No one would ever join cuz no one likes Usopp! Even if there WERE people who do, they wouldn't like him enough to join his fan club! Sorry, but I am only stating the facts! I hope you don't quit your day job to make one!!! DO NOT DO IT!!!!

A. Why do you want to know? You little weirdo... This information is private. Sorry. However! I WILL tell you that Usopp is single! And my guess is that he'll stay that way for a while!
Q11. Hey! Captain Shadow! Can I call you 'Shadow Sensei' just like 'Oda Sensei', the author of One Piece? (from reader)
A. Really? I'm flattered! This isn't an early April Fool's Day joke is it? Sure! In fact, I think I almost prefer to be called that! Has a nice ring to it...!
Q12. Shadow Sensei! Does Luffy know the Muffin Man? (from reader)
A. What an odd question... And I am afraid I do not know the answer to that question. I will ask him... One sec...

Q13. Um, Shadow Sensei? Will a spork help me become a pirate?
A. A fine question! Yes... the power of sporks is great indeed... I would say you might just have a chance with a spork. FEAR THE SPORK!!!!
Q14. Why isn't Ms. Sunday (Nico Robin) in any of the pictures, Shadow Sensei?
A. Well, as good as my photography and sneaking skills are, I haven't been able to catch her in too many pictures. BUT! If you look in the back of one of the pictures on my Pics page, she's in the back of the picture I took too soon with everyone lunging at me. But I think that's the only time I've gotten her... If this concerns you, I promise that I'll try to get some pictures of her and put them on my Pics page.
Q15. Captain Shadow Sensei? I love your stories and I was wondering if you will be writing any stories with Luffy's brother, Ace, in them? I love Ace!! (from reader)
A. Well, you'll just have to wait and see! ;) But I CAN tell you that it's a great possibility! I like Ace alot too!
Q16. Hey! Shadow! I want to know something! I know that Zolo's you're favorite from One Piece, but who's like your second, third, fourth, etc. If you could tell me, that'd be great! Please include bad guys too! (from reader)

Q17. Hey Shadow Sensei, besides One Piece, what other kind of Anime/Manga do you like?
A. Well, I like Naruto, Zatch Bell, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, Inu Yasha, Yotsuba, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. Those are my favorites! I also like the following, although they are not Manga, they are Anime: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Code Lyoko, and Teen Titans. I think that is it... I haven't been too familiarized with some of the other ones out there, but I have heard of ALOT of them!
Q18. One question has been driving me crazy for a while... So if you could please answer it for me, Shadow Sensei... I know about the controversy between Luffy and his brother Ace to see who is best, but who REALLY IS the best? P.S. I love your stories! (from crewmember)
A. Hmmm... That is a good question! And I am afraid I do not even have an answer to match it's greatness! You would think that Ace would be better since he is four years older than Luffy. However! Luffy may have more experience with HIS Cursed Fruit abilities... but since no one knows alot about Ace, I have no idea how long he's had HIS powers! But, if a battle between the two were to take place right now, I think Ace would have a slight advantage. I mean, Luffy wouldn't want to hurt his own brother! Ace, on the other hand, would probably be a bit more ruthless, despite the family connection. But if they both gave it their all... Who knows!?!?
Q19. Shadow Sensei, I am a huge fan of your newest story, 'I Follow My Own Path' from what I have read that you put on the short story section of this site. I was wondering though... When did you first get your bounties and how much were they?
A. When I was 7 years old, I first had the bounty of 20 million Berries on my head. This was because I had just finished welding together Shadow-fire and Shadow-ice. I took them out for a spin. I decided to spar someone and accidentally ended up killing them because I didn't know at first how truly powerful my knew swords were. Luckily, the person I killed was a notorious criminal, but I still had the bounty placed on my head by the Navy because they were also out to get the guy. My bad! But I wasn't at all upset about having a bounty. I was actually quite proud and that remains true to this very day!
At age 10, it went up to 50 million Berries. This was because I began killing off Naval commanders and officers to avenge my friend's death. The Navy executed her because they thought she was a pirate.
Then, on my 13th birthday, it was raised to 120 million Berries and still stands today. The reason for this increase was because I defeated Captain Chaser (in a strange twist of fate, I did so with Zolo who I hadn't seen in almost 6 years!).
