Physical Description Laurea’s the average height for an elf, around 5’8” Her hair is strait and its color is a black that might compare to midnight without a moon. It has a health shine of it and its length extends to her waist including her bangs. Her eyes are a deep blue with a white-green line separating the blue from the white. Her complexion is tanned like the fine sand on an ocean beach and the skin is unbroken except for two tattoos and the scar on her shoulder. One tattoo, located on her arm, looks like a live vine that winds from the base of her scull to her wrist. The other is found on her lower back. It is a rose that is an extremely deep shade of red and has a drop of what looks like blood coming from the lowest petal. The scar is found on her upper back and it extends from the left shoulder to the right waist.
Clothing: Her outfit depends on either the weather or the battle conditions. If everything’s normal, and she's not on any big adventures( just walking about on the ship, then she usually wears a dress that reaches to her toes, you might compare it to the dress Arwen wears when she return’s to her father in the third movie. Except this one is a deep green instead of blue. Otherwise she wears her riding outfit. It looks a lot lit Legolas’ outfit (swoon) except that this one is white, green and blue. She often wears her Lothlorien cloak no mater what she’s wearing. Laurea always walks around barefoot but on occasion she will wear her light, yet durable, slippers of Rivendell silk. On her left hand’s middle finger, she wears a ring of Mithril with a white diamond at its center. It was once her Grandmothers ring which was once know and Nenya.
Weapons She wields two swords, one on each hip, both tipped with a gem. On the right a sapphire sits on its crown and on the left an emerald. Each blade was named after her two strongest Elements. Linque, the water sword, was the one tipped with the sapphire and Taure, the woodlore sword, was tipped with the emerald. They’re the strongest blades because they where forged when the bonds of Elves and Dwarves where still true and strong. The metal, Methril, had been deviled by the lords of the Dwerodelf in Moria and the Elves of Lothlorien had forged the metal into the beautiful works of art. The sheaths of these amazing works of art are designed to look like a great tree is growing at its base with its topmost branches creating the band that holds the sword in place. The trees look like the one’s in the side of the gates of Moria. (Can you tell if I’m a LOTR fan yet?^^) She carries a bow on her back along with its quiver. The bow is dark brown with dark blue-green vines running up and down its length. And the quiver is made in the same design.
Personality: Whenever she’s been on a journey with naught but her animal’s to keep her company, then she reverts to the way that most elves act. Quiet and calm, more interested in the books than in any action. But once she has been around her friends for a time she begins to act more like a child, kind of like Luffy, not a care in the world.
Likes/dislikes: She loves peace and quiet but at any moment she would rather have laughter and a good clean fight. But all the time she loves to have a smile both on her face and on the faces of others. She loves anything fun and exciting. Of her powers she likes the wood lore best because it allows her to communicate with the plants and animals that she wishes. She loves being around people who might act childish because then she can go back to acting like a child. But she loves two things above any others. The first is Elven Lore and the second is the red haired pirate Ace. (But more about that later^^) She doesn’t hate very many things but she defiantly can’t stand true hate. The little squabbles that Zolo and Sanji get into she doesn’t mind that but the serious “I’m going to kill you” is something she just cannot stand.
History Laurea was born in the first age of what was once called Middle-Earth. Her mother died at her birth so she was brought up by her father, Elrond, brother, Glorifeild, and sister, Arwen. She was then raised on the ancient arts of music, swords and archery and was gifted with the love of travel. She was alive during the time of the one ring and was there the day that the Dark Lord, Sauron, was forever destroyed. The elves past on to the Valar but she chose to remain, for reasons she did not even know herself. Before her Grandmother, Galadriel boarded the boat she gave Laurea an array of gifts. The bow, the swords and the necklace. Galadriel had put her hand on her forehead and said something in the Elvish language. When she lifted her hand the necklace grew slightly heavier and when Laurea looked down, she saw a cold blue stone in the shape of a snowflake on it.
“Learn the elements, granddaughter, and this necklace will forever become more beautiful.” She did not under stand what she meant but only nodded her head and watched the boat sail away. Years passed and she watched as Aragorn grew in wisdom and her sister gave birth to the first of a wonderful line of kings. When Aragorn died her sister succumbed to grief and past on, leaving Laurea as the last Elf on earth. She remained there, watching over its progression and learning all it had to offer. The age of men continued and she found it harder to remain in the runes of Imladres. So she began to travel and explore the way of the wanderer. This is how she was able to learn wood lore and the emerald gem came to appear on the necklace. Many years later, to many to count, she came to a small village, now possessing the power of water. There was no doubt on what the main teachings where with every other man or young lad wielding swords on their belts. Laurea had walked along the streets when she came to a local inn, where she stayed for many years. She Became an apprentice to the local doctor, (Sure she was way older than him but you know what they say, You learn something new everyday.) to learn what the world of men had. The doctor had received a call at the neighboring town and left Laurea to look after the place. But, an hour had not even passed, when a young woman was brought in. She was close to delivery and in great pain. The mother died but the child was unharmed. There was much talk about who would take care of the young one until a relative could be found when Laurea offered to raise him. After all, she had grown quite attached to the little boy. He had the strangest hair color, a light green shade, and black eyes. It took a while to come up with his name but finally she found one that suited. Zolo, after a pirate whose attacks could shred his enemy’s apart, and living in a Village of sword wielders, there was no doubt that this young boy would one day have a sword at his side. Also the Japanese word, zorome, resembled his birthday, November 11. So for two years she looked after the child teaching him to crawl, walk, and even speak a little Elvish. But one day there came a letter that his father wanted him to be taken care of by the sensei of a local sword dojo, so that he may learn the art of swords. Laurea tried to convince him that she could teach the lad, but the father refused. so she was forced to hand the boy over to the teacher and leave. She was heart broken but she continued on knowing that it was probably all for the best. Around five years later, she had come to be the waiter of a small inn/ restaurant. She had saved the place from burning down and the owner’s would not allow her to leave until they could pay her back for all she’d done. It had taken another five years to get the money they would give her.
