Rep. Mary Liz Holberg was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 1998, and has since been reelected in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Her district includes the community of Lakeville.
She serves on the following House committees: Civil Justice; State Government Finance; Transportation Finance and Policy; Transportation and Transit Policy and Oversight; and Ways and Means, where she is the lead Republican. She is also a member of the Small Business Caucus.
She served as chair of the Civil Law Committee in 2003 and 2004, and chair of the Transportation Finance Committee 2005-2006.
