School Board meetings are usually held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM in the school office/meeting room.  Please consult your church bulletin, the monthly school newsletter, or this website to verify the time and place. 

 

The first fifteen minutes of each meeting are open to anyone wishing to discuss a need or share a concern; please remember that only policy issues are to be brought to the Board.  In accordance with both Board by-laws and civil law, no names of students and/or staff members can be brought up, or individuals discussed.  Concerns about a particular person should be brought to the attention of the principal or pastor. 

 

If you have a policy issue to discuss, please notify any School Board member that you will be coming at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.  A presenter will have ten minutes to present a concern.   The School Board may ask for clarification only; Board members will not be able to respond to your concern at the meeting.  A written response will be mailed to anyone coming before the Board as quickly as possible, while still allowing time for the Board members to gather information and discuss the issue; the response will be sent no sooner than fourteen days, and no later than thirty days.  If the issue concerns the larger school, it will also be addressed in the monthly newsletter.  Policy issues can always be brought to the attention of any Board member, who will then discuss your concerns at the next meeting.
