Background About the Author of This Site

Hello, my name is Bill Straub and I am currently working as an instructor and technology support specialist at a "High Tech Center" for Disabled Student Services at a local junior college. Prior to this, I taught adults with developmental disabilities for six years and taught high school for an additional three. This Web site was created to distribute my freeware computer software and share lesson plans as I found very few places providing activities geared towards adult students who need very basic skills (for example, students with Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, head injuries, seizure disorders, etc.). It is my hope that you find the site useful.
