Decompression / Unzip Programs

In order to save download times and server space, all DOS and CorelDRAW downloadable files on this site are compressed. Therefore, you need a decompression or unzip program. Here are some links to some sites that offer shareware or freeware unzip programs.

If you are running Windows XP or Vista, you already have a built-in unzip program.

Each unzip program works slightly differently, but the idea is to open the zipped archive and "extract" or "unzip" the compressed file so that it can be used by your computer. For example, I run Nico Mak Computing's WinZip and click the Open button to browse to C:\MY DOWNLOADS to open the downloaded file I wish to unzip. Next I click the Extract button to unzip the file(s) back to the same directory/folder C:\MY DOWNLOADS. Then I exit WinZip.

You may need to read the instructions/documentation that comes with your unzipper program for exact instructions.
