Tying instructions:
(1) Add cone head to hook and then place hook in vise.
(2) attach thread and wrap a thread base back to a point just past the hook point.
(3) coat thread base with head cement.
(4) tie in about six strands of silli rubber leg material near center of the strands and distribute evenly around hook.
(5) take the strand ends projecting towards the front of the hook and fold back and tie down (form a slight loop with the original tie-in area to make it esier to tie in the folded strands without a great deal of bulk).
(6) trim the loops formed by the strands and the apply thread wraps to secure them in place, add head cement to wraps.
(7) Attach about 4 inches of chenille to the hook and make wraps that cover up strand tie-in point and and 2-3 wraps on the shank to form body then secure chenille with one wrap of thread.
(8) Take four to six more strands of the silli rubber and secure them evenly around the hook with thread wraps.
(9) Work the chenille in between the strands and infront of them to force the strands to flare towards the rear of the hook.
(10) fill in area behind cone head with chenille (head should not be able to rotate freely) then tie off chenille and work wraps of thread behind cone head.
(11) finsh by working a couple of half hitches in behind head.
NOTE: because it is difficult to apply head cement behind the cone apply a thin coat to the thread before tightening the half hitches down.
