Tying instructions:   Attach thread near center of shank and add copper wire, wrap the thread to a point just befor the point of the hook and secure a 3 inch length of the ultra chenille making sure that it lies on top of the hook shank.
Then wrap the chenille about three to five turns aruond the shank depending on the size of the hook (a size 10 hook will take more turns than a size twelve) and ty off the chenille again making sure the chenille is on top of the hook shank and in line with the tail end.
Wrap the thread to just behind the eye and whip finish.
Apply head cement to the head and to the exposed thread wraps for better durability. Carefully singe the ends of the chenille to form neat tapers.
A small candle works fine but a lighter set on a low flame will work as well.
