- Fuel cells that can power cars are beyond the development stage. Fuel cells now available can power cars and many other internal combustion engine machines such as mining equipment. One company already has the first underground unit functioning in a mine, totally fueled by Hydrogen. In fact, any internal combustion engine can be converted to Hydrogen fuel with relatively little expense.
- Every major manufacturer of automobiles has a program for Hydrogen fuel cars many of which have already been built and are running now. BMW, Honda, Toyota, Ford, GM and DaimlerChrysler have cars now that run on Hydrogen.
- Contrary to popular opinion, there are already fuel stations in Nevada, California and other countries. There are even portable Hydrogen generators that are available commercially now.
- Hydrogen powered buses will be on the road in 10 major world cities this year.
- UCLA has just put six Hydrogen fueled cars in service as a test.
- A bus company in California is running one bus fueled by Hydrogen as a test right now.
- Hydrogen Storage is making fast progress and fuel tanks are available that are comparable to gas tanks in cars buses and trucks. These tanks are safe, efficient and reasonably priced.
- Hydrogen can and will replace; oil, coal, natural gas and other fossil fuels.
- Hydrogen is unlimited as a resource. Hydrogen is safe. Hydrogen can be produced inexpensively now.
- What is lacking is the infrastructure to make and distribute Hydrogen but this can be overcome within a few (3) years by using existing gas stations and storage facilities.
- A Hydrogen bicycle is under development now for sale in China where internal combustion engines are banned in major cities.
- Hydrogen can be produced from Fossil Fuels, Wind Power, Solar Power and Water Power so, there can be a gradual phase in of totally non- polluting sources to eliminate environmental concerns.
