color-coded scale accompanies radar images that
tell the intensity of the precipitation. The
scale at right accompanies radars found at
DotJay.com and ranges from white
and purple indicating very heavy rain and hail
to green indicating light
to moderate rain while blue shows light rain, drizzle
and sometimes fog. In between, red and orange shows heavy rain
and sometimes sleet.
