Police Operations
The Ironwood Public Safety Department provides 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, of police coverage to the City of Ironwood.
We also maintain 24 hours a day, 365 days a year of in-house Dispatch.
We currently have mutual aid agreements with surrounding agencies. Including Hurley, WI. We can respond and assist these other agencies at their request.
Ironwood is also a D.A.R.E. city. D.A.R.E. is a national drug prevention program aimed at keeping youth from experimenting with drugs. Officer Rimkus is the current D.A.R.E. officer.
