The Cardinal Green Initiative at the SVSU Greenhouse

We will visit SVSU's Greenhouse which features hydroponic and vermiculture systems as well as green technology research endeavors. The mission of the Green Cardinal Initiative of Saginaw Valley State University is to promote a healthy campus and local community by developing environmentally sustainable, socially just, and economically viable food and fuel systems.

A regular business meeting will follow at the Marshall Fredericks Gallery on the campus of SVSU. The greenhouse is on N. Michigan Rd to the east of the SVSU campus. The approximate location is marked on the map below.
