Steve Vecchi began concentrating his vocal attention on the "big band" and "jazz" vocal styles in 1985. By 1990, working with the finest Twin City musical arrangers, Steve began developing a musical repertoire that included 17-Piece orchestrations of his original songs, as well as some of the greatest musical "standards" previously performed by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Nat King Cole. Today, Steve’s current 17-Piece musical library is among the finest in the United States. During one of Steve Vecchi’s recent performances in Las Vegas, Mr. Rich Little, famous impressionist/singer/comedian, commented that Steve’s vocals and orchestrations were “outstanding, fresh and authentic”.  Steve’s instrumental abilities (trumpet, flugelhorn, Latin percussion & drums) add an interesting versatility element to his "live" performances.

In addition to his numerous Minneapolis / St. Paul performances, Steve Vecchi has been featured in numerous national venues, concerts, and conventions in Las Vegas, Chicago, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Disneyworld, Clarksburg and Los Angeles, where he has shared the stage with such artists as Al Martino, The 4 Lads, The 4 Aces, Connie Stevens, Dick Contino, B.B. King, Spyro Gyra, Louie Anderson and Bill Kirkenbaur.  Steve has also been featured in the largest showrooms of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.  In addition to his performances, Steve has been composing & writing his own music for the past twenty years. His current CD collection includes “Mind Music”, "A Return to Melody" and “Steve Vecchi Live”.

Steve is currently in the process of developing a show entitled, “Crooners” targeted for Branson Missouri show area. This show will feature songs from the greatest American crooners to include Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby.
