TiVo Version History

This is a list of the various versions TiVo software that I have experience with. I will list the changes that I could see, this is not meant to be an official listing of all versions and all changes.

1.2.1 - September 1999

Multiple inputs (atellite & antenna or atellite & cable).

Repeating manual recordings.

Set the save time on individual recordings in advance.

TiVo's "suggestions" updates more quickly, the items are numbered, and improvements to the suggestion algorithm.

The TiVo "busy" indicator is much more reliable.

1.1.0 - June 1999

Added an icon to show which shows were set to "manual delete" in the list of stored programs.

New telephone setup options.

Picture quality improvements for the standard quality mode.

1.0.15 - May 1999

This is the version my system arrived with.
