Professional Profile Walter Morris, founder of ITS Networking Services, is an alumnus of CMGI Family, where he performed network consulting and design services for a broad spectrum of CMGI companies. His clients have included organizations in the finance, manufacturing, State government, health care and education industry sectors. Prior to joining CMGI, he spent 6 years managing IT and Technology companies, and SBS Networking Solutions as a design engineer, systems engineer, technical project and service manager. Fred is an experienced technical leader of teams of engineers on complex networking projects. He has extensive consulting and hands-on installation experience with Windows 2000 networks, IBM AS/400 (iSeries) networking, Cisco routers, ethernet switches, firewalls, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN). He holds the Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications. Education and Personal History Walter received an B.A. from Fresno State University, in Fresno, California. He received degree in computer science and engineering. He has over 1000 hours of technical training from Cisco and IBM covering topics such as adv. router configuration, local-area networks, and TCP/IP. In addition, he is active professionally as a senior member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA). |
