Intrusion Detection

Conventional wisdom says that only larger companies can afford a network intrusion detection system. A good network intrusion system is indeed expensive if purchased from one of the major network vendors.

But a good network intrusion system does not have to be expensive. ITS Networking Services is currently testing a distributed network intrusion system based on open-source (Linux) software.
