About James Engineering, Inc.
James Engineering, Inc. provides registered professional engineering services
for the petroleum industry nationwide, specializing in the Appalachian Basin.
We offer consulting services in reservoir engineering, drilling and production

witness testimony, and other special projects. James Engineering, Inc. has
one of the largest petroleum engineering consulting staffs in the East. We
can provide up to six petroleum engineers and the support of staff required
for large projects. The staff of James Engineering, Inc. has extensive experience
in all aspects of the oil and gas industry.
For special projects, we often contract the assistance of several highly experienced petroleum engineers. Two of these, Mr. Kelsey Luman and Mr. Dave Freeman, are professors of petroleum engineering at Marietta College. Mr. Luman and Mr. Freeman teach reservoir and drilling engineering courses, and have extensive reservoir and drilling experience with major oil companies. This relationship provides further dimension to the firm’s capabilities by allowing us to access information, and facilities for projects as needed.
In regards to expert witness testimony, we have testified on behalf of clients in cases in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Florida. Cases which we have been involved include: determining the reserves and revenue values for oil and gas properties, reservoir engineering regarding gas storage reservoirs, bankruptcy proceedings, condemnation cases, drilling rig and well site accident, investment fraud, well completion problems, pollution of ground water, casing and equipment failures, and other matters related to the extraction of fluids from the earth.
Our clients include major and independent producers, service companies, banks, investors, insurance companies, law firms, utility companies, and government agencies.
