Beyond Eden is a Mission to the Mayo community.

enabling the Word of God and the People of God to be Salt and Light to the Mayo community.

creating a nurturing context where the Christian can grow and the seeker is welcome.

creating a challenging context where the transforming power of God's Word is brought to bear.

 

 

Beyond Eden is a weekly, Word-centered, interactive, Bible study for medical and healthcare students, residents and others of the Mayo community.

It is preceded each week by a fellowship meal and supplemented by other occasional events that promote community and service.

It hosts occasional lectures and discussions that seek to promote the integration of Faith and Medicine.

It encourages medical professionals to live out their faith; by supporting medical missions, promoting CMA participation and hosting an annual Hippocratic oath swearing ceremony.
