2005: Siemens
bought out the company I was working for back in 2000. I’m still doing the same thing,
installing mainframe software for hospitals.
My kids are grown and out on their own, my younger son is engaged to
be married some time in the next year or so and his finance has a 6 year old
daughter so I inherit a granddaughter.
My older son has just moved to the Washington D.C. area in September and
is working for UPS, living with his girlfriend of 8 years. I guess they will never get married. My significant other has 2 children, a 12
yr old daughter and a 10 yr old son.
So even though I miss my kids, I get to experience again all of the
growing up joys and pains with Mike via his children. |
