The design is called "The Morning After".  This particular design is not my creation but taken from another pen turner, Ron McIntire . The pen style that was used is the "Sierra"  In this particular pen there are 39 separate pieces of wood that were cut to shape and then glued back together in this particular pattern.  The woods used in this pen were Bloodwood, Curly Maple, and Ebony.  This pen is definitely a show piece that will attract a lot of attention anytime it is used.  The pen uses a standard Parker™ refill.                                 This pen is available for $60.00   Sorry this particular pen is sold

 

This is another pen based on "The Morning After" pattern.  The pen style used with this pen is a Polaris and is a Black Titanium finish. The woods used in this pen are Bloodwood, Curly Maple, and Ebony. There are 54 individual pieces of wood in this pen. The pen uses a standard Parker™ refill. This particular pen is a roller ball that is a modified version of a standard pen known as a "Baron".

This particular pen is made from three different woods.  The black is African Blackwood,  the white or light wood is birds eye maple without many eyes, and the red wood is Bloodwood. The strips of wood in this pen are approximately 1/16" of and inch thick.  This pen is a closed end version. and the cap of the pen will not post.  This Distinctive pen sells for $85.00.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Snakewood Sierra Pen    This is the heartwood of the tree and is a dark red or reddish brown with conspicuous, irregular black speckles or stripes resembling skins of certain snakes. This is a very rare wood and is very difficult to work with and comes from South America.  Once finished is is a beautiful wood and definitely a pen that will be a collector's item. This particular instrument sell for $45.00

 

 

"The Baron"  This rollerball  is called the Baron style and is a copper plated finish.  This particular pen is created as a "Closed End Pen" Because there is no tail piece on the lower barrel creating unique elegant design even though the pen has a big appearance it is very light and comfortable to use.  The wood is cocobolo for South America. It uses a standard Hauser or Schmitt refill.  The price is $75.00     Sorry this particular pen is sold

 

 

Another in the "Baron" series This roller ball is crafted from a material called celluliod, blue with white lines that create unique random patterns.  The pen components are Platinum plated and take a Hauser, Schmitt, or even a Monte Blanc ® refill.  Presently it has a Hauser refill installed.  The unique closed end design will actually allow the pen to stand on its end.  Price $50.00
