Pen or Pencil Plating

Below is a brief plating description of each of the instruments offered here.

24 Kt Gold

This is by far the most popular plating for pens and pencils. This is bright pure gold giving your instrument a rich and luxurious look and feel. The plating is covered with an epoxy coating to insure a long lasting finish. This finish goes well with all woods and most acrylics.

Brushed Satin

A very durable low luster white metal plating giving your instrument a subtle and elegant look. This finish goes well with most acrylics offered as well as many woods.

 Black Enamel

An attractive black low luster coating. The baked enamel coating is very striking and also durable. Provides a intriguing look with most woods and acrylics.

Titanium Nitride (TN) Gold or Black

The gold looks just like 24Kt gold while the black is a unique finish that is somewhat similar to a smoked chrome. This finish is guaranteed to last a lifetime under normal conditions.  Each instrument with the titanium finish has the "TN" indicia on the clip for authentication.

Platinum Group

The plating on this style is Rhodium, an exquisite and valuable precious metal from the platinum chemical group. Rhodium is extremely durable; it will not tarnish and is very resistant to scratching and acids.  This finish is also guaranteed to last a lifetime under normal conditions. Instruments with this finish also receive a card that explains the finish.
