Week One is done!

Well done, ladies!

This is where we stand:

Varsity Roster is set for the Jamborees and one swing player is identified. Welcome to frosh Tamara Heryford, who will contribute to our defense!

Jerseys are handed out (Ash still needs hers) and we'll forego embrodiery for now. Makes Dan and my lives easier :) thanks!

Next week sees us facing foes earlier than ever and bigger guns than ever - North Medford, Roseburg, and KU (Add in Crater and Ashland in our regular season, and we will face more than half of the SOC, leaving only Eagle Point, Grants Pass, and South... you want us to try to schedule them for next year?)

Word from the league: St. Mary's has 17 kids out as of this week (per a post on Oregon Live), so they are solid for the season - we will see them at their field on Oct 11 - they are Match #5 in our 8 game league schedule.

We hope to have the JV coaching situation firmed up before the weekend is over. Keep your fingers crossed!

Up Next Week: Captain selection, news on the UPortland Trip, and some other fun items before Friday
