Coming into the weekend, 3 teams sat at 4-0-0 on top of the OYSA u19 Girls' Classic league. Oregon City Eclipse traveled to southern Oregon to face both their co-leaders - FC Phoenix's KAOS and Valkyrie. KAOS stepped up on Saturday to deliver a narrow 3-2 win at Colver field in Talent, while Valkyrie delivered 2-0 on the turf at Spiegelberg on Sunday.

Valkyrie also found a Saturday win vs Bend Surge (2-0) and KAOS downed Surge on Sunday, to bring both FC Phoenix squads to 6-0-0. They will face off on March 5 at Colver in what could be the de facto league title match. That hopeful scenario must be tempered with the reality of next weekend's road trip which will include both sides facing Wasabi, who are still in striking distance of the top spot.
